Hey, hey Greg!
It was great seeing you at Em's the other day.
Just to follow up; I saw Miles Marek at FTC last week and gave him your CD... he said your band had played there, and that you guys made quite a hit. He said he'd like to book you again! Good luck - see you soon!

I got to tell you, I can't imagine what happened at the Ct Blues Challenge. With the Mojomatics not making the finals (compared to a couple of the bands that did) and you guys not winning the final round, I'm at a complete loss as to the judging of that competion. Your band had the look, a fresh sound, excellent originals, tight arrangements, great stage prescence and were in tune! I guess they were looking for something else to send to Memphis. Keep up the good work. Scott

Hands down the best band at the Blues final in West Hartford. You guys blew my boots off!(first time).Question for Greg......when you where playing slide at this show were you tuned to an open key or was it normal tuning?
Your slide playing is so dam good it's like you better have a fire extinguisher close by at all times!Playing with such feeling and switching leads flawlessly. What you guys do is what puts your band ten notches above the rest. sincerely,
cabinboy

What's up Brian? You remember me as "Leicester" (pronounced "Lester") from the McMahon daze. Our old Rowayton transplant buddy, Jon, told me about your gig. You guys would fit in great down here; this place is all about the Blues, R&B, etc. Maybe I'll catch you guys next trip up. Jon and I will be ripping it up down here in Sarasota this Saturday...Aloha, y'all!

I met you Mr Ready at Gary`s 4th of july party, you were great! I love that fender you were playing. too bad that guy on the booze spoiled the show.

Thanks Barry, nice meeting you too! That Eric Johnson Strat is the best stock Fender I've ever played and yes, the drinkin' certainly gets in the way for some people. - Webmaster

Greg, Dave, Brian the CD is absolutely awesome. Thanks for the blurp on the CD Greg...Thank you for promoting the BLUES in FAIRFIELD COUNTY. I watched the HooDoo Band for the first time at Georgetown Saloon back in 04 and was taken from that moment on!!! You guys truly put the BoxCar on the map with your love and dedication...which prevails so far above just being a band. The memories of some of those performances and the open jams you guys hosted were nothing short of musical magic, mojo, and vibe, something very special that I will never forget for the rest of my life. It was truly your passion for the blues and how you expressed it. Dave & Greg thank you for leaving your mark in Southport and never stop doing what you love without that passion. It is that Passion (not just the love) that expresses whats in your heart.

Dave! Had a great time at the Redding Road House, and look forward to hearing you guys whenever I can. And if you'd like, I can pass a clipboard and sheet of paper around the room, getting emails for you guys. (I do this for my son-in-law's band). Let me know! And yeah, thanks for the thrill of singing Ride Sally Ride that night. Was fun!

Great show at the Oyster Festival. Too bad you were competing with Dion for part of the time.

How did you make out in the competition???

See you again soon.

"You guys suck"? "Lose the bald guy"? Isn't it nice to have some asshole post crap like that? Really makes it worth it, doesn't it?

No, you guys DON'T suck...and who cares about someone being bald? The mutherfucker can kick with some good vox, too! Y'all are a very good Electric Blues band. Period! Do y'all ever play the deep South? I'm thinking Atlanta down through Orlando. Lots of Rednecks and bikers who would dig your sound, I'll bet. Don't bother with South Florida, though: nothing but Cubans and New Yorkers who are into "El Disco" and not much else!

Good luck to you!
